Alcohol and driving do not mix. The consumption of alcohol effects each person differently; but always impairing a driver?s judgment, vision, and reaction time. While the necessary skills required to drive safely become impaired at levels well below the legal limit, there can only be debt and loss associated with the decision to drink and drive.
You or your friends could be arrested and convicted of driving under the influence (D.U.I.), which means a loss of his/her license, no more cheap auto insurance rates, thousands of dollars in fees, court costs, or even imprisonment, serious injury to you or your friends from an accident, or death.

- Keep a promise to yourself to never be caught in a situation where you?re stuck riding with someone who has been drinking.

- If you do not have a designated driver, have a cab or some sort of public transportation ready for your departure at the end of the night.
- If you are unable to get a ride home, consider staying the night where you are or someplace in walking distance.
- If you do not have the ability to call a ride for yourself, ask your bartender or server about calling one for you.

- Gather car keys upon entrance.
- Ask around for the designated driver of each group of guests before serving.
- Be prepared to find rides for intoxicated guests.
